Six jurisdictions, each with its own structures, steps and yearly duties. Start with the UAE, or pick the country that fits where your business and your customers are.
-
United Arab Emirates
Free zone or mainland, the licence, your residence visa and the bank account. What each step involves and what the company has to file once it exists.
How it works -
United States
An LLC is formed in one state, not in the country. What that choice changes, how you get an EIN without a US tax number and what a foreign-owned LLC has to file.
How it works -
Hong Kong
A private company limited by shares, with a company secretary and a registered office in Hong Kong. What incorporation asks of you and what comes back every year.
How it works -
United Kingdom
A limited company or a limited liability partnership, registered at Companies House. What the register asks of directors and owners and what is due every year.
How it works -
Panama
A corporation formed by public deed and entered in the Public Registry through a resident agent. What that takes and which duties stay with the company afterwards.
How it works -
Seychelles
An International Business Company, incorporated through a licensed registered agent. What it may do, which registers it keeps and where its accounting records must sit.
How it works
The country is the last decision, not the first.
Where do you live, and where will you live?
Where a company is taxed depends on where it is formed, where it is run from and where its income comes from. Your own tax residence is part of that picture.
Where are your customers and your payments?
The bank account is a separate step from the registration, and the bank decides after its own checks on the company and its owners. A structure that looks right on paper still has to get an account.
What will the company have to file every year?
Every jurisdiction on this page asks for something each year: a return, accounts, an audit or records kept at a set address. That is part of the choice, not an afterthought.
